Emu oil has been used for centuries in the treatment of Arthritic pain, inflamed joints, muscular aches, burns and skin disorders. 

The oil of the emu is a rich source of natural vitamins, especially Vitamins A and E and contains minerals, fatty acids, lecithin, natural anti oxidants, other healing properties and health promoting ingredients.

Emu Oil also contains the essential fatty acids Omega 3 and Omega 6. The Omega 3's are in the form of linolenic Acid (LNA) C18:3w3 which in the body naturally produces the other important fatty acids which are normally found in fish oil.

Since the Emu Industry has developed there has been reported many successful testimonial stories from people using the oil in areas such as:

1. Raising blood iron content.

2. Relief of arthritic pain.

3. Reducing inflammation.

4. Relief of muscular pain.

Early research showed that emu oil has a tremendous variation in the levels of anti-inflammatories. Knowing the potential of the oil, a major research program was undertaken. The results of this research were above expectations and have resulted in the product INNER RELIEF.

The research program concentrated on increasing the anti-inflammatory qualities in Emu Oil. The research revealed that the following factors greatly effected these ant-inflammatory qualities:

• The genetics of the bird;

• The natural feeding program; and

• The way in which the oil is processed.

In published research papers comparing different Emu Oils available throughout the world an arthritis score, which is a test of anti-inflammatories in the oil, gave scores from 0 to 70 with an average score of 42.

The test was to show the tremendous variations that occur with different oils, with the consumer not having any confidence in the levels of anti-inflammatories present.

In the same research the arthritis score (or anti-inflammatory level) of Emu Oil was compared with other products some of which claim anti-inflammatory properties.
